Morena was wild and wonderful. She was our first alpaca 100% Chilean import. Her DOB is not known and estimated to be about 4 years prior to import. Deceased in 2014. She was purchased with a yearling cria at her side, Aysen's Arana, sire unknown, since was bred prior to importation, and Arana was born in quarantine. Windy's Katie, started out as a black alpaca and by 4 years of age, became a dark silver gray.

Definitely an alpaca with personality.

Katie delivered her first cria October 2010, "Windy's Martha," a fine fleeced white female (Sold).

Placed 2nd in juvenile full fleece Black Halter class at SAFONA 2008.
Placed 4th in Juvenile full fleece Black Halter class at SEPA 2008.

Contributed by her dam and sire, Katie has a lovely head & topknot! She has a Dark Silver Gray fleece with luster from her sire, combined with crimp and loft from her dam.

Katie is the first offspring sired by our Picchu's Merlin, with a fine black fleece, who's sire, 5Peruvian Prestige Picchu 9065, fawn, was imported by Stachowski Alpacas. Katie's dam was our beautiful imported brown female, Aysen's Morena IMPQ98.
